Amber Emerson, an NYC based actor, considers both the stage and the bandstand home. Amber holds a BM in Vocal Performance with a concentration in jazz studies from Moravian University and has performed on various stages, including ones abroad in the Czech Republic! Favorite past credits include Marian Paroo in The Music Man, Liesl in The Sound of Music, Philia in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Hope in Anything Goes!, and Sarah in The Civil War. Amber made her Fulton Theatre debut in The Sound of Music and Sherlock Holmes & The Mystery of the Crown Jewel and her Playhouse on Park debut as the magical muse in A Charles Dickens Christmas. Last holiday season, Amber starred as Maria Rainer in Milton Theatre’s production of The Sound of Music! Over the summer, she performed in the World Premiere of Love Affair the Musical at the Legacy Theatre! This December, Amber returns to the Fulton Theatre as Belle in A Christmas Carol. Amber studies voice with Victoria Clark and acting with Susan Cella. She is signed with Broad Talent Agency. Amber enjoys running, swing dancing, photography, baking an array of pumpkin desserts, working as a model, adventuring with husband Alex, and reading mystery novels!
